Please find below a short collect of my communications and public relations experience below, concentrated in my work with the Society for Women’s Health Research (SWHR) as well as my client and internal agency work completed at FleishmanHillard from 2018 to 2021.
National, Trade, and Local Media
Manage media relations with outlets for company and on behalf of clients, by processing requests and coordinating interview interest from reporters with appropriate subject mater experts. Conduct native outreach—following media brainstorms, pitch drafting and media list creation—based on client announcements, new stories, moments in time and other timeline touch points. Assist with material preparation (including creation of briefing documents, talking points and speeches), copyediting, story release tracking, and media metrics. Staff on-site and virtual interviews with paper reporters, broadcast hosts, podcast teams, and other platform creators. Ensure proper publication and distribution of final materials.

Social Media Experience
Run daily social media content, strategy, analytics, and engagement recommendations for all SWHR channels. Created a strategy and led the creation of the SWHR Instagram account in 2022. Manage channel inboxes. Share recently published materials and relevant resources with peer organizations for cross promotion efforts. Use of tools such as Hootsuite to schedule and manage social posts and Google Analytics and Excel to collet and process data for reporting.

Additional Projects
Website:
Coordinate all website updates, changes, analytics for SWHR website using the WordPress platform, including support of a website remodel project in 2023. Create and publish new resource, blog, and event pages across the SWHR website on regular, weekly basis.
Email Communications:
Draft and execute all email communications for SWHR, from monthly newsletter to event reminders, resource e-blasts and other holiday notifications. Manage all email subscriber lists, measure open, click and engagement rates, working within the Constant Contact platform. Oversee public email inbox for SWHR. Experience as a strong virtual communicator, managing teams, deadlines, expectations and work product over email in both Google Mail (Gmail) and Outlook services.
Fundraising:
Manage short-term fundraising campaign for an annual campaign for the Atlanta Women’s Foundation in fall 2020, raising $2,068 (double my original goal of $1,000) for their programing to benefit women and girls in Atlanta. Management:
Support general communications and marketing needs for SWHR team, from administrative design and ordering of business cards to internal style guide and communications processes creation. Perform as a core team member and strong team player with ability to anticipate upcoming needs, great communications skills and can-do attitude.
Oversee intern and fellowship program in informal capacity for three years and manage health care intern for one month at FleishmanHillard Atlanta office.
Lead project management and client relations on several health care and select corporate accounts at FleishmanHillard Atlanta office. Attend and present on weekly client calls, including creation of call agenda and call recap notes sent to client team. Use Hootsuite, Basecamp, Box, Office 365, Outlook, SharePoint and Microsoft Teams to share deliverables and coordinate on ongoing projects, deadlines. Find some examples below.
